Moving is stressful, so let our customer service crew make this bit easy. Let us know when you’re moving; we’ll make sure the Apex truck is along for the ride when you settle into your new digs.

Please note that you’re responsible for service until you notify our office, so don’t forget to call or email us! A charge will be assessed for all carts & bins not returned from the service address after the final stop date—so just like a hotel robe, you’ll want to leave them behind.

No—those TVs need some trash TLC. Contact us and we’ll help you find the perfect solution for disposing of electronics.

Please put your carts and bins in the street against the curb. The arrow on the lid should face the street, and the cart handles should face your house.

Place the carts at least three feet away from other carts, extra trash, parked cars, fences, trees, mailboxes, etc. Be careful not to block the bike lane—even trash carts should share the road with Eugene’s bikers! For a visual guide, download this handy PDF.

Just as the name implies—food! Toss in your peels, bones, shells, and any other food scraps. You can even add weeds, brush, tree trimmings, and other plant matter you clear away from your building.

Note that compostable serviceware products and food-soiled paper cannot be placed in your compost container—organic materials only, please. The only exception is compostable bags and liners, as long as they’re certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI).

Do not try to get a mattress into your bin—seriously, you might throw out your back! Better option? Call our office or email us. For a super reasonable fee, we’ll haul away your old sofa, mattress, shelving, or any other bulky thing you want out. Our bulk item removal starts at just $29.50.

When you’ve polished off that last candy cane, we’ll be happy to send Santa’s elves to haul off your tree in January. We’ll let you know which weeks we’re doing tree pickups; you’ll just need to schedule pickup in advance by calling our office at 541-607-2042 or emailing info@apexdisposalservices.com. Please place it at the curb on your regular trash pickup day (no stands, tinsel, lights, flocking, or ornaments, please!) and we’ll take it away for $17.00 per tree.

Yes — we want to keep things fair and transparent, so here's how it works. Bills are due by the 10th of each month. If a balance goes unpaid for 30 days or more, a finance charge of 0.75% per month (APR 9%) is applied, with a $1.00 minimum charge. If service is stopped due to non-payment, a $35 reinstatement fee will be applied, and service won't resume until all outstanding charges and fees are paid in full. A $70 repossession fee is also charged on accounts closed due to non-payment when our trucks need to remove containers. If you ever have a billing question or think there's been an error, please reach out within 30 days of your bill date and we'll work it out together.
