Coats for Kids 2020

Apex Recycling & Disposal is conducting our annual Coats for Kids project from September 28th – October 26th. We are proud to be a partner in helping get coats for the children in Lane County. Often children in our area go without warm winter gear because their families cannot afford to purchase a new or used winter coat. In prior years, coats were supplied through agencies such as Head Start, The Relief Nursery & Kids First Center to name a few and some were still not able to fill all of the requests they had. Can you help this year?

From Sep 28th-Oct 26th, Apex Recycling will be accepting donations of new and used coats at our office (2399 Hwy 99 N, Eugene, OR 97402 – a quarter mile South of Beltline) and our drivers will also be able to take coat donation on our regular route to make it easy for you to help.

  • Place a new or used coat in a plastic bag and mark it “Coats for Kids”. The drivers will pick these up and we will make sure the coats are distributed to children in our area.

  • There is a significant need for infant and toddler sizes as there are many requests for these sizes.
